The Institute to Transform Child Protection (ITCP) offers a variety of on-demand, online and in-person training programs for key stakeholders in the child protection system and those who intersect with the child protection system, like attorneys, judges, guardians ad litem, and case workers on national and local levels.
We also collaborate with partners to reach a broader group of stakeholders who work with children involved in the child protection system, such as therapists, educators, and community advocates.
Our webinars focus on trauma and trauma-informed practices for individuals and organizations. These on-demand, online training sessions provide professionals a low-cost, self-directed, flexible platform for continuing education.
In-person training opportunities for professionals and students focus on trauma, trauma- informed practices, secondary trauma in the legal system, child welfare issues, and courtroom advocacy. We frequently partner with other organizations to offer high-quality continuing legal education from a multi-disciplinary perspective.
